A good crowd of over 200 made their way to Stoke Gabriel impressive set up. unknown to them a first half goal feast awaited them Buckland took an early lead when an attacker fired across goal to enter the net. Via the post. This lead was short lived when Villa scored 2 well taken goals to give them the lead. Buckland then took a 2 goal cushion to lead 4 2 one of these goals was a 20 yard screamer into the top corner giving the villa custodian little chance. Bucklandwould surely tighten things up at the back but Villa had other ideas and scored 2 goals to bring the scores level at the break, a truly remarkable first half. The second half surely could not match up to the excitement of the previous half, Buckland switched it around bring first half hat trick hero Josh Houghton into defence, this limited Buckland attacking options and led to a cadge second half. Both teams knew 1 more goal would be the winner, with the clock going into the 90 minute and extra time looming ,Buckland leading scorer Lee Grimshaw volley into the net ensuring wild celebrations of his yellow team mates. Buckland saw out the remaining 7 minutes of injury time and the Dartmouth cup was on its way back to Homers Heath. congratulations to Browner and his team on a great win. well done.Ist goallink2nd Goal linkWinning Goal linkPhoto Credit Amy Alford
