Its been well over five months since Lewis came home from Bristol Hospital. He was rushed up to the hospital after contracting a very nasty virus not long after learning he had relapsed after only nine months after having chemotherapy for over three and a half years.
Since he has been back home he has not been allowed to attend school for fear of picking up any infections. Poor boy has been bored out of his head as well as missing all his mates.
After a meeting last week with his consultation he has been told he can go to school for two days a week. I'm sure he is going to love being back at school and I hope in time he can go back full time.

Our Lewis continues to make good progress and is coping very well with his treatment. One thing that is important to Lewis is that his life is as normal as possible and I’m pleased to report he is now back in school fulltime. It’s not easy for him but something he wanted more than anything, so all the best Lewis you are a star and one we can all look up to and learn so much from.
