I played with Martin Breyley at Brixham Grasshoppers where he orchestrated our win over Torre Trojans at Plainmoor.
I see that my hero from TUFC who presented us our winners medals at Plainmoor that day, turned out for Galmpton. the one and only Clint Boulton. Even though the programme said it was Frank O'Farrell

Will see what I can do Dave, sure I must know a few who would post on here!
Don't have a scanner unfortunately, but see what I can do. Know a couple of the Herald finals involve clubs no longer in existance (i.e. Dartmouth YMRC & Upton Vale)

I noticed looking at the programme involving Dartmouth YMRC that they had a Peter Goss playing for them, wonder if that is the same PG as the 'famous' yachtsman?

Thanks Nick, I can always borrow then for a day or so maybe? the next time Buckland play at home, scan them and then put them up. Yeah, that'll be fine Dave. I noticed looking at the programme involving Dartmouth YMRC that they had a Peter Goss playing for them, wonder if that is the same PG as the 'famous' yachtsman? Pete Goss was born in Devon and now lives in Saltash and while I’m not 100% sure, I do seem to remember reading somewhere that he did play once for Dartmouth, but I could be wrong. We will always remember him for Team Phillips and it seemed so special having that incredible craft built so near in Totnes. I went and saw it while it was under construction and could not believe how big it was, maybe it was just to big and that was its main problem. Team Philips was built to be the biggest, fastest and most high-tech of boats. With wave piercing bow technology she was a sailing spaceship in carbon fibre, and was specifically designed for The Race – a no-holds barred, no limits, round the world challenge. In December 2000, on the passage to the start of The Race in Barcelona, Team Philips had to be abandoned in freak weather. 70 knot winds, 10m waves and worsening weather conditions, left Pete and his crew no choice but to abandon Team Philips or risk their lives. It initially ran into trouble during its trials in March 2000 off the Scilly Islands, due to errors in the computer modelling of the composite hull. The first 40 feet (12 m) of the port hull broke off. It was repaired with the addition of internal bracing. It then suffered from problems with the pioneering bearings that supported the massive 130-foot-tall (40 m) masts which required further repairs.. Then while undergoing final preparations out in the Atlantic for The Race, cracks developed in her accommodation pod. After the loss of the boat, the companies Goss Challenges Ltd and Goss Composites Ltd, set up in Totnes, found themselves in financial difficulties and were voluntarily wound up. It was a dream I suppose and one I think we all wished would come true, I was very saddened when she had to be abandoned at sea, some of it was later recovered and one 40ft section of the hull was washed up in Ireland. It weighed over six tons and for five years was displayed at Falmouth Docks. It ended up being sold on Ebay for £510
