I happen to believe we are all very lucky to live in such a wonderful place, we have so many good beaches and coves and the moors are only a short drive away. So why do we go and spoil the place we live in by leaving rubbish and litter everywhere? Fly tipping has always been a problem and yet we have a tip that’s open seven days a week, why when people have such things as picnics do they leave all their rubbish behind? They brought all the food from home so would it be so hard to take their rubbish back home with them. Our beauty spots become full of rubbish and they then do not look so very beautiful anymore and its mindless and lazy people who are responsible. Maybe people simply do not have so much pride these days, gone are the days when people would go out and scrub their front doorsteps every single week. The picture below appeared in the Herald Express last week; it shows the rubbish that has been left at Hopes Nose, a very popular place used by local fishermen. They are not being blamed for leaving all that litter, most of it is from picnics and barbeques that have taken place there. It costs money to clean up such rubbish, but it’s the way it makes the place we live in that I’m most concerned about.

the main contributors to the rubbish at hopes nose is the Chinese people who come down from Bristol by the coach load, they fish the place almost industrially. one coachwill turn up after ten or so hours and a full load of people get off and take over from the people who have been there for hours, they rotate so they are almost fishing the site 24/7! it's not just them though, I go down babbacombe pier quite a lot and its always covered in rubbish, I get fed up of cleaning it! I hate seeing litter, I have taught my child not to litter, what's everyone else's excuse?

well I never knew that Aussie and can only think it must be such a good fishing spot for people to want to come by the coach load from Bristol to fish there. Not a fisherman myself but did fish there once with a mate, spend six hours and caught bugger all.

their here to catch mackerel, they can pull out up to six fish per cast, on average one cast.every five minutes, that equates to nearly a fish per minute per person and there can be up to forty of them at any one time. that's nearly at a maximum yield of 250 fish per hour, right what you have to understand is these fish are getting good market prices and at the quantities these people are ripping them out of the sea they will be making a hell of a lot of money! £700 an hour on a good day! if you offered a paid fishing excursion to low income people who have nothing better to do you would fill a coach up in no time, If you were really organised you could do it in shifts, think about it, £7,000 potential every 10 hours, minus coach hire and fuel also a mere pittance for the work force and you stand to be thousands of pounds up every ten hours! not bad money for a simple plan and sit back while everyone else works for you! you can rip fish out the sea from that spot all day long with feathers, I've been there using a lure, one fish at a time, and come home with over 100 fish from just a few hours fishing, it's easy, you can buy a set up ready to go with feathers on for less than £30, at £3 a pound for the fish (retail) 60 fish covers your outlay and every fish after that is profit.feathers are only £1.25 on average, there is huge potential for massive profit If done correctly. it's not just the rubbish they leave behind that is pollution either, where do you think the nearest toilet is? not to mention the fires they light to cook with, the place is covered in filth, ash and shit, someone needs to send Bristol a rather large bill and tell them to fuck off and ruin their own areas!

I wonder if a quick call to emigration might sort it out?
