Buckland take on Brislington from the Bristol area on Saturday at the Heath 3.00 kick off
Last season Buckland drew 2-2 at home and they beat us on their own patch 2-1
Brislington sit just above us in the league in 7th position, where as we sit in 10th but have games in hand over all the teams above us.
Brisligton come off the back of a excellent run in the FA cup where last week they lost to conference side Welling, which was one round away from the first round proper. a truely remarkable feat for a Western league side.attendance given as 700 where as Brislington normally get 60- 80 fans. Brislington beat Wells (who beat us) And Steve Massey Truro along the way to earn some well deserved money from the cup run.
Team news
Jordan Havlin has completed his 3 match ban and i think he will be on the bench,All other players fit , but i feel there will not be to many changes and keep a settled side together from the side that won last week in the Western league cup.

Buckland Athletic 1 Brislington 1
On reflection a fair result as both teams did not deserve to lose,
Buckland starting eleven included new signing Liam Head from Bovey Tracey and he soon settled in along with Alex Jeannin in the back four. Liam Head who was an apprentice at Argyle, has also played for England and showed his calmness on the ball for the whole match and was close to being my man of the match for the Yellows.
The first half Brislington had the strong wind with them but Kenny Griffiths in the home goal was rarely troubled.
Buckland took an early lead in the second half when Si Revell swung in a corner from the Kitchen corner, the ball came in and the ball ran loose to Gavin Hammon who fired hard into the net giving the Bris keeper little chance.
Buckland nearly scored a second when Ben Carter headed back accross the goal the ball hit the bar and was cleared off the line by a Brislington defender.
Brislington drew level when a Bris player cut in from the byline and fired a great shot into the net giving Griffiths little chance.
Buckland were reduced to 10 men, when Carter was brought down by a midfielder after getting treatment he vented his opionions to the referee and was shown a second yellow and then the red card, with Buckland having to see out the final few minutes with 10 men.
The Referee blew up for full time with Brislington happy with a hard earned point.
