Buckland face last years winners of the Les Phillips cup, Willand Rovers at Homers Heath on Wednesday.
Willand knocked out Buckland last season, before going onto lift the cup in May. Willand won last year at their Silver street ground with an extra time goal to see them through.
Both league fixtures last season, were very close encounters with willand beating us 1-0 and a scoreless draw here at the Heath so in three games, Buckland failed to score against the Willand keeper.
This season Willand are in a top six position and on Saturday had a convincing six goal hammering.
Buckland have not won in six and failed to keep a clean sheet in eight,so a very tough game ahead but if we play to our true potential we should get a result.
On Saturday Buckland drew against Sherborne in a scrappy game, with recent signing Liam Head getting his first goal for the yellows.
Going to be a cold old night so wrap up warm,

Buckland Athletic 2 Willand Rovers 1 AET
Buckland put in a strong performance against last years winners of this cup, Willand,
The yellows scored early ,as on Saturday in the 7th minute when Liam Mcauley flicked home a cross from SI Revell. Will and came into the game more and Chris Veal equalised in the 14th minute the rest of the half was even as both keepers made some good saves.
The second half was just as even and extra time was needed. the dreaded penalty shootout loomed but in the 115th minute Steve Bowker went down the right and crossed to Lucas Burgess who fired into the net and send the Bucks into the next round round. Chris Lanyon made 4 great saves in extra time to keep his goal in tact, and must be credited with my man of the match.
Overall a great win, as the yellows have not one a game since they beat Roman glass st George in the LES PHILLIPS cup 6 games ago lets hope we can get our league form going again starting with reigning league champions Bishop Sutton on Saturday 3.00 kick off.
