Many thanks to Mick Price for sending in this great team photo of Liverton's first and second team that was taken at Halford. Mickey believes the photo was taken in 1981 or 82 or maybe even 83. Mickey has come up with some of the names in the photo, but would love others to list any of the names he can't remember. I have put up the original photo and have also cut the photo into three pieces to help make it easier for people to name anyone in it. The names Mickey came up with are Back row 3rd from the left = Don Pady, Kevin Holcombe, Ray Wilson, 10th Steve Gidley, 16th Martin Halford, Ivan Rumbelow.
Front row 1st from left = Dave Parsons, 5th Martin Linton, Steve Weekes, Maurice Bilinghurst, Phil Bridegman, 10th Phil Taylor, Geof Brimicombe, 13th Mick Price (me)

Thanks Martin,
You managed to fill in the names of people I could not remember and it was particularly nice to hear from you.
I was interested to hear that Steve Weekes is your neighbour, we go back a long way Steve and I. I really got on well with Steve so I'm glad he's still around. Does he have any interest in local football now?
I'm also pleased to hear that you sometimes bump into Ivan Rumbelow who I remember did so much work for Liverton football club.
The ground was always a credit to him, and I absolutely loved my time playing for Liverton, to me it was a spectacular place to train, and play football, and if I remember correctly we did have a pretty good team at the time.
Does Ivan have anything to do with the team now? When you next see him tell him I was asking about him.
Thanks again for letting me know the photograph names, I have really enjoyed this bit of reminiscing.
By the way you're probably right about the photograph date it was just me making us all seem younger than we are.
Regards
Mickey
