Red Arrows Torquay 26th August 2015I decided to try and get some shots of the Read Arrows display in Torquay, but sadly the weather was not all that good. Rain showers and dark clouds made the shoot much more challenging, but I at least was pleased with some of the shots I managed to get.
I had planed to watch the display at Daddyhole Plain, but I never got there. I left home in Paignton at 16.15pm, but one hour later with just 45 minutes left before the display was due to start, I was stuck on Torquay seafront. In the end I ended up finding the very last on street parking spot in one of the roads on top of Rock Walk. I found in the end a long set of steps that took me to the higher path on Rock Walk and was pleased in the end with this location.
A good number of people turned out to watch the display that was a joy to watch, just so hard to try and capture on a camera. Took forever to get back home and view my shots, but I’m glad I went over and the next display I watch, I just hope the weather is better.
