Final Score Ilsington Villa Bishopsteignton United
Time to cover another South Devon league game today and one from the second division. For the last three years until I recently gave up working, I have been delivering to the Carpenters Arms in the village of Ilsington so I thought it was about time I covered a game there. I have never covered any Villa games in the past as far as I can remember so this will be a first for me.
I have covered one Bishopsteignton United game but that was way back on the 27th November 2010. The game was played at their old ground at Humber Park and I had never been so cold in my life covering any game as I was that day as a Siberian wind blew across the ground.
That match report can be read here

Bishopsteignton were top of the table and were playing Maldon who would have gone into second place if they won the match which they did. Ten years on and Bishopsteignton have not made a very good start to the 2020/21 season losing both of their opening games. Last week they were at home against Ilsington Villa and suffered a heavy defeat. Ten minutes into that match Bishopsteignton were winning by two goals to nil, but at half time the score was two all. I am not sure what happened in the second half, but Villa ended up winning the game nine goals to two.
Ilsington Villa have made a much better start to the new season winning both of their opening games and scoring a total of eighteen goals and only conceding just three. Bishopsteignton United will I am sure be hoping they can put right what ever went wrong in the second half of last weeks match against Ilsington Villa.
Match Report Sadly game called off as Bishops could not raise a side
